About this data
ProHunt aggregates public wildlife observation data from each state's wildlife agency and from iNaturalist's open observation feed. Coverage spans Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, and Wyoming, including elk, mule deer, coues deer, pronghorn, bighorn sheep, mountain lion, black bear, javelina, and turkey. Every dot is tied to a Game Management Unit when one is available, so you can quickly see where the reports are clustering inside the unit you've already drawn or plan to apply for.
The free view is a real scouting tool, not a teaser. Heatmap mode highlights density; pin mode shows individual sightings with location and date. Pro members get species filtering, field photo previews, exportable coordinates (CSV/KML), and the AI Hunt Advisor that pulls this data into a personalized strategy.
